SSU + SSD Guide
In this guide, we will show you how to correctly shut down / start up the server; the inability to do so will lead to a strike.
R1
• You may only SSD if the server has fewer than 8 players, or your the only staff member on and you have to hop off/ no one else can hop on or if you gain authorization from a high-ranking staff member.
R2
• Shutting down the server without authorization or when the server is above 12 members will result in a strike.
If there is no current staff online and you think there should be an SSD, ask a member of leadership to run the command from the server.
Once you've got authorization from a high-rank to shut down the server, you must send the following message below.
:m We will be shutting down our server soon, wrap up all your roleplays and don't forget to join our communication server. Code is coastline
Wait about 30 seconds - 1 minute and run the following command below.
• :kick all
Then ensure that everyone is out of the server, after you checked and everybody is out of the server, you may leave the server and log the SSD. Use the command /session shutdown
in the #sessions
channel or get an Administrator+ todo so.
Some of the causes for an SSD include, but are not limited to:
• Lack of Staff Members
• Lack of players
• Server has gone through too many revivals *-boost command
• And many more...
R1
• You may only SSU if there is more then 3 staff available at that time.
R2
• You must not host it earlier or later of the time it was ment to start at or the amount of votes it has.
(Only Adminis+ can host a SSU | Only 2 Sessions can be hosted a day)
If there is no current staff online and you think there should be SSU check with a High Rank first.
Once your ready run the command /session poll
in the #sessions
channel and wait for 4 votes or the time that the Session is set to start at. Then once it has reach the time / votes use the command /session initiate
in the #sessions
channel.
