Staff Guidelines
Professionalism
You are required to use your best Spelling and Grammar (SPaG) when in tickets, moderating, and whenever you are in a professional situation.
You are required to maintain a constant level of professionalism when representing the server.
Staff are not allowed to drive on the ice in staff vehicles/uniforms (During the time of Ice in the River)
Staff Scenes
When moderating users, you must use context in every situation to influence your final decision. You as a staff member are to decide if you will take action or not.
Anyone above the rank of Senior Administrator can be taken as witnesses as they are trusted members of our staff team.
You are required to ask for proof when first attending a staff scene. If there is no proof you must decide based on context if a moderation is needed.
Commands
You are required to use at least 6 letters on any kick/ban commands
On any other commands you must use 4+ letters.
You can not use commands off-duty unless you are above the rank of Management
You are under no circumstance use commands for fun, or abuse them at any time.
Staff Vehicles & Uniforms
Unless you are currently 50/50 moderating, all members of the staff team are required to use the correct uniforms and liveries according to their ranks.
We do not allow custom staff uniforms or liveries. Any requests to get them will be instantly denied.
You are not allowed to use ELS when driving around or parked on the side of the road.
You are only allowed to pull people over if they have the incorrect livery or are driving an exotic vehicle. With any other circumstance you must use freecam and commands.
Moderation
Staff above the rank of Senior Moderator are permitted to 50/50
When on you are on a 50/50 shift you are permitted to be on any roleplay team.
During 50/50 moderation, you must prioritize mod calls over your roleplays.
If there is a mod call at your current scene you are not permitted to respond to it.
When our in-game server is below 20 players there is only to be 1 staff on-duty at a time. When the server player count exceeds 20, there can be as many as we need.(Maximum of 8 at once)
During 50/50 moderation you are not allowed to moderate people for staff RDM unless you have either stated that you are apart of the staff team, or have used commands in front of them clearly.
High Ranking
Do not TP to members of Management without permission, you can ping them in staff chat
Do not ask Members of HR why they are viewing you or question any commands they are using. If you feel commands are being abused/miss used please open a Internal Affairs Ticket
If someone is asking for a manager, don't immediately ping them as the issue can usually be resolved without them.
Infractions // Appeals //Reports
All infractions issued by Internal Affairs or Management is strictly confidential to the Manager and the Staff Member
All appeals must be handled in a Internal Affairs ticket, DMing a member of Management/Leadership will result in your punishment
Tickets
You must request permission to speak in claimed tickets (Only members of Leadership bypass the PTS rules )
If a member is being disrespectful to you or any other staff member in the ticket, you have full authority to close but ensure you provide warning.
If you are handling a ticket, make sure that you claim it, otherwise staff members are fully able to claim the
Departments
All members are required to apply for departments. Just because you are staff does not give you free access to use whitelisted equipment.
Members of Department Overseer and Leadership are permitted to roleplay as whitelisted divisions without an application. However, they are required to request permission from the Department Head to roleplay as sub divisions
General Reminders / Common Sense Rules
Do not hint for any promotions within Coastline Roleplay and or DMs
Do not bring external server drama into this server
Do not disrespect anyone
If you've failed to meet quota and you know the next week you wont be able to meet the quota request a LoA or Reduced Activity
Do not go to members of Leadership for every issue, members of Administration or Management are there to assist you at all times
